Therefore, the term generally refers to all art, produced in America and Europe, during the nineteen hundreds. In addition to a hand full of other countries, which were primarily influenced by the West. This was a time when Artists were introducing new materials, new techniques and new concepts. It was the intention of those Artists to break free from the restraints of the establishment', and redefine the boundaries of art. Without doubt, one of the most important and innovative inventions' of twentieth century art was Cubism, and the concepts of abstraction. Almost all of the large paint and varnish manufacturers in the United States are now making lacquers, which in some cases are being unwisely advertised as suitable for nearly all purposes. In the hands of a skilled finisher they produce satisfactory effects, but when a novice attempts to spread them with a brush over newly varnished surfaces, there is sure to be trouble because the solvents in the lacquer are similar to those contained in some of the paint and varnish removers and the newly applied coating reacts with the old, resulting in a spoiled finish.

No one said picking out a costume was ever easy, for both women and men alike. Men's costumes can be just as hard to choose and select from the choices given as much as women's costumes can be, especially since men do care about the way they look. Women might be more conscious of their looks and everything, but men want to look nice in costumes too. No one ever wants to look silly and when it comes to dressing up in costume, that is what most generally fear might happen.
