Is Cash For Clunkers Worth It?
July 21st, 2009The new Cash For Clunkers bill passed and was signed by President Obama and became law on June 25, 2009. The Car Allowance Rebate System or CARS as it is officially named allows people to trade in their old vehicles for new ones and receive up to $4,500 towards the purchase of that new car. This program is not absolutely new. It has been introduced in Europe with outstanding results.
