London - The Theatre of Dreams

July 11th, 2009

From the gates of Buckingham Palace to the magnificent Houses of Parliament, London is one of the world's leading cities for culture, history and anything else one could ever associate with a true global city.

However, what brings many visitors to London is the nightlife. The abundance of fine restaurants, bars and nightclubs draws crowds to the metropolis in their hordes, whilst the bright lights, big city vibe of Piccadilly Circus is London's very own answer to New York's Times Square

The Detroit River Walk

July 11th, 2009

The Detroit River walk is one of the most popular places to go in Detroit, especially during the summer. It provides great views of the Detroit River, Belle Isle, Ambassador Bridge, and the Windsor skyline in Canada.

These views and the breezes off the river make it a joy to walk, bike, and rollerblade along the river walk during the warm summer months.

The current stretch of the walk is 3 miles but is being expanded further. It is a perfect place if you want exercise, for a date, or if you just want to relax and enjoy the view as people walk by.

Of course, San Diego is best known for serving as the Pacific Command Center during World War II, and even today it is still the hub of Pacific central operations for the US military, housing four major bases, one from each military branch of the government. However, there is so much more to see in this amazing city than just military bases or wharfs and piers. If you plan on traveling to San Diego, there are some absolute must-sees that you shouldn't pass on by. This list should help you to make the most of your vacation when there.
